This traditional built schooner by Abeking & Rasmussen in 1934 was designed by Artur Tiller, who was along, with Fife and Mylne, one of the well know naval architects in the thirties. Build in Germany to the highest standards as an ocean going schooner for a German industrialist. After the war she was re-rigged as a ketch after being confiscated by the Nazis and subsequently captured by the British navy. She has a mahogany hull and a teak superstructure and decks. The Cummins 180hp diesel is overhauled in 2002. The main mast, bowsprit and rigging have been renewed in 2011. She has 10 sails, some of them recently renewed. The accommodation comprises of 3 cabins with 1 crew cabin, sleeps a maximum of 10 including dog house arrangement, 3 heads. She has a large original saloon, featuring original panelling, chairs, details etc. Ask for refit list, full history and specification list.
